Twisted Intestine Crawl

Connecting tunnel between Hanley Room and Porcupine Room.

The Twisted Intestine Crawl is through a smooth walled, very narrow tunnel with a clay floor. Estimates for the length of the crawl are between 50 and 100 feet. Traversing this tunnel is serious aerobic exercise with tunnel dimension requiring a full repertoire of caving moves. Successfully traveling through this tunnel is a sure cure for claustrophobia.
